Dr. Kimberly Sinclair Holmes Statewide 4-H Director The Statewide 4-H Director provides visionary leadership to the implementation and evaluation of the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program and is responsible for creating and implementing strategies and programs to support the growth and development of 4-H, volunteers, and staff. The Director connects research and extension efforts to the latest research on positive youth development and collaborates with UC ANR Strategic Initiatives, Program Teams, Workgroups, campus specialists, advisors, staff and county Cooperative Extension offices in fostering research and program delivery across the state of California. The Director provides leadership and oversight to the 4-H Advisory Committees, 4-H focus areas — 4-H Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM), 4-H Healthy Living, and 4-H Civic Engagement — and the 4-H Military Partnership Program. The Director develops and coordinates revenue generating opportunities in support of 4-H, and develops, interprets, and implements UC policies related to 4-H. Primary clientele is 4-H staff, academics, county directors, and 4-H adult volunteers who, in turn, deliver programs to meet the needs of young people and families in the community. Kali Trzesniewski
Youth Development Specialist
Kali is an associate Cooperative Extension specialist in the Department of Human Ecology, specializing in developmental psychology. Kali completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at UC Davis. She was a faculty member at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, prior to joining the UC Davis faculty in 2010. Her research interests include families, children and youth, students and education, positive youth development, health and well-being.

Kait Murray
Access, Equity, and Belonging Academic Coordinator
Kait (she/they) provides leadership and support to 4-H professionals throughout the state to increase the engagement and participation of unserved and underserved youth and adult audiences in all delivery modes of the 4-H Youth Development Program. Kait completed their PhD in Science and Agricultural Education at UC Davis. Prior to joining 4-H, Kait led the UC Davis LGBTQIA Resource Center’s research and outreach for queer and trans graduate students. Her background in academic peer advising and mentoring includes work with UC Davis Student Housing, the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation, and the Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

Whitney Bell 4-H Analyst Whitney provides statewide support to 4-H county and state staff as well as ANR colleagues through research, analysis and development of all 4-H policies. Additionally, she provides oversight to the statewide 4-H financial reporting, as well as the 4-H Data Systems Analyst's management of the 4-H enrollment system and all associated reporting requirements. Academic Coordinator for Volunteer Management
Gemma leads efforts to ensure principles and best practices for volunteer engagement are implemented in California 4-H. With over 40 years of experience, she has provided extensive youth services, including outdoor education, camping, school-aged childcare, at-risk youth programming, marketing and communications, and special event management. She has extensive experience in professional development for staff, volunteers, and youth.

Jenna Colburn Community Education Specialist for Civic Engagement & Leadership Jenna leads and manages statewide youth leadership, civic engagement, and service learning programs for 4-H.
