4-H Shooting Sports Workshop

Western Heritage Discipline

Winton, CA

Saturday, December 11, 2021          8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. &

Sunday, December 12, 2021             8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

A 4-H shooting sports workshop for the Western Heritage discipline will be held at the Safety First Shooting Association, River Oaks Range, 11584 N. Shaffer Rd, Winton CA 95388 in Merced County. Participants must attend both days of training to receive certification. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant is certified as a 4-H Western Heritage Leader or Leader trainer and can lead an Western Heritage project. There is a $35 fee to cover student handbook/materials for the course, and light item breakfasts. Teen leaders are invited to register and participate. Teens must attend with an adult or have a certified shooting sports adult leader they will be assisting back in their home county.
