Sponsor a 4-H Scholarship
Show Your Support and Promote Higher Education!
The California 4-H Youth Development Program is committed to promoting higher education, in part through offering financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Statewide scholarships are available, with help from donors, for graduating high school and collegiate-age 4-H members to help fund educational expenses such as tuition, books, room and board, and other educational expenses. While specific eligibility varies for each scholarship, most are judged on the candidate’s 4-H leadership and citizenship experience, project work and future interests.
In 2008, twelve scholarships were awarded to a candidate pool of over a hundred high school seniors and college students. We intend to increase the number of scholarships we provide through additional sponsorships.
