Sectional 4-H Presentation Days

Members who compete at County Presentation Day and receive a gold medal in their division are qualified to compete at Sectional 4-H Presentation Day. Sectional 4-H Presentation Days are qualifying events for the State 4-H Field Day. Presentation categories are open to all age groups: junior, intermediate, and senior. Members may choose from a variety of presentation styles including: demonstration, illustrated talk, impromptu speech, interpretive reading, educational display, share-the-fun, prepared speech, cultural arts, audio-visual, and problem solving. Please refer to the map below to see which sub-section your county falls into. For more information on presenting, please see Public Speaking.

For 4-H youth members from Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo County.

Youth who receive a gold medal at County Presentation Day are eligible to participate in Sectional 4-H Presentation Day. San Luis Obispo County will be hosting the 2014 Sectional 4-H Presentation Day, on March 08, 2014, at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Details on Sectional 4-H Presentation Day will be provided to Gold Medalists at County Presentation Day event. As a reminder, Primary Members are not eligible to participate in Sectional Presentation Day. As always, they are welcome to come watch and support the older members

Entries must be emailed, or faxed to the San Luis Obispo County 4-H Office by February 26, 2014.
Late entries will not be accepted – No exceptions
