Collegiate 4-H

Collegiate 4-H is an organization that provides students at an institution of higher education with a sense of identity on campus.  Collegiate 4-H enriches their lives through group projects and recreation and develops confidence and leadership skills. Collegiate 4-H clubs provide service and support to their local and state 4-H programs, such as providing judges and presenting workshops.

Collegiate 4-H is open to all college students who wish to support youth and the 4-H program. Prior 4-H experience is not necessary, only an interest in the 4-H ideals and in serving the community.

Collegiate 4-H Clubs ...

  • Help local 4-H programs with events and activities.
  • Continues to build citizenship, leadership, and life skills among the club’s members and the youth with whom they work
  • Bridges the gap between youth, leaders, and staff throughout the state
  • Encourages participation in campus events or functions
  • Conducts community service events
