4-H Shooting Sports Workshop in Santa Maria

Event Details

Participants must attend both days of training to receive certification. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will be certified as a shotgun project leader and can lead a shotgun project at the club level. Teen leaders are invited but must attend with an adult. 


To qualify for this training, you must have completed the following items:

  • Enroll in https://www.4honline.com/ in your resident county as an Adult Volunteer
  • Complete the DOJ Live-Scan process in your resident county, and
  • Complete the Volunteer Training in the online eXtension system.


If you are already enrolled as a 4-H Adult Volunteer, you do not need to complete the above steps.


No cost to participate! Lunch will also be provided both days.


Participants are encouraged to bring their own eye and ear protection if desired, but it is not necessary. Please bring your completed Treatment Authorization and Health History form (Adult) (Youth) with you on the first morning of class.
