Patrick Hinde
It is difficult to define Patrick, as his interests range from raising livestock to camping to skateboarding. His interests in animals and the outdoors were enhanced by the 4-H projects available in his local 4-H club. However, he wanted to bring more variety and more members to his local 4-H project. How did he accomplish this? He started the Skateboarding Project.

Patrick began the project to share his love of skateboarding with his fellow 4-Hers. Along the way, he learned about county safety procedures, the statewide 4-H Healthy Living Initiative, and promoting a new project. Despite some initial setbacks, Patrick's enthusiasm and determination helped him overcome obstacles, and soon his project was flourishing.

Currently, Patrick is serving as a County 4-H All Star with the goal of someday becoming a 4-H State Ambassador. He has high goals within the 4-H program, and the skills and dedication to achieve them. He recently received the Golden Clover Award in Innovative Ideas.
