District Leader Opportunity

Put Your Leadership Skills to Work

Looking for an incredible leadership opportunity?

We are seeking college-age students who are ready to expand their leadership and communication skills in an active setting and mentor high school students during a 5 day hands on conference held in Sacramento. 

Serve as a district leader for California Focus

June 18-23, 2015

As a district leader you would:

Participate in planning an educational conference around the theme of civic engagement.Mentor high school students.Use your leadership skill

 

Application Process

The completed application must be submitted online to the State 4-H Office no later than January 14, 2015 

Completed application must include the following:
        Application Form, resume, and essay questions uploaded to online application
        References in provided survey. One each of the following (staff and 4-H Member)
        4-H Staff (employee): Program Rep, Program Assistant, 4-H YD Advisor, or County              Director
        4-H Member or recent 4-H alumni (not over 21 years of age)

References should not be from family. References will only be accepted through the provided survey. Additional Letters of Reference will not be accepted. 

Timeline:

Applications due January 14, 2015

Applicants will be notified by email by February 20, 2015

Tentative California Focus staff training April 5, 2015
